COACHING

Jessica first discovered coaching fifteen years ago, from the perspective of the client. The impact it had on her sparked off a fascination with performance and how coaching can influence and enhance it. She trained as a coach in 2014.

Coaching is a conversation in which the client has time to think, is paid attention to, is supported and challenged by the coach, and which results in some sort of forward momentum. Sessions can provoke both immediate and gradual changes, with shifts in focus and perspective sometimes becoming realised long after the conversation has ended. Coaching can be done in person or by Skype. Sessions are 60 to 90 minutes long and are completely confidential.

Jessica offers support for performers of all disciplines in the following areas:

  • planning for performance
  • help with performance anxiety
  • providing a space to think for emerging ideas about performance/career pathsM
  • removing feelings of "being stuck”
  • low confidence and self-esteem
  • fear and doubt
  • lack of enjoyment at work
  • being “controlled” by feelings

Workshops/ Group Coaching
As well as coaching individuals, Jessica runs workshops and group coaching sessions. Her workshops on performance (Ready Steady Perform - how to be comfortable with being uncomfortable) are usually 3 hours, for a maximum of 20 participants. More recently, she has been running Lockdown Limbo - an online 6 week discovery course, aimed at supporting creatives throughout the pandemic. It has proved so popular and successful, she has followed it with Lockdown Limbo - The Sequel. She is also now offering a 6 week course in a similar format focusing on performance.
